How to Customize a Scene
What you can customize depends on your project role or access. The project owner and collaborators with project access can customize the look of any scene in the project. Collaborators with scene-only access can only customize their assigned scene.
Choose a Look
Whether you want to focus more on the screen content or the camera, or have a balance of both, Camtasia online helps you customize and adjust your content for a professional look.
Click the thumbnails to preview looks across categories.
Preview a Variation
Click the Customize button and select the Variations tab to select a variation of the selected look.
For example, if the camera is covering important screen content, select a variation with the camera located in a different position.
Toggle Screen & Camera Effects
On the Effects tab, click individual screen and camera effects, such as corner rounding or background removal, to turn them on or off and perfect the look of your screen.
Choose a Background
On the Backgrounds tab, select from a variety of dynamic background categories: Gradients, Particles, Patterns, or Textures.
To edit the background colors and properties, export your project to Camtasia Editor.
Click the Close button when you have finished customizing the look for your scene. After you have recorded and customized your scenes, export your video. See Export & Share Videos from Camtasia Online.
